  • What are my apartment options?

    We have 1, 2 & 3 bedroom apartments available. There are even layout differences between the 2-bedroom apartments in our three different buildings. You can see floorplans on this website!

  • Are appliances provided?

    Each apartment has a fully-equipped kitchen with a full-size smooth cooktop stove with a roomy oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave. There are multiple Laundry Centers in each of the three buildings with multiple washer and dryer units. Each apartment is equipped with its own furnace and air-conditioning system.

  • How much is rent?

    Rent varies depending on several factors, including, but not limited to - number of bedrooms in the apartment, number of tenants in the unit, pets, etc.

  • Are utilities included?

    Partially. Water, sewer and garbage are paid by T&T Rentals, but you pay an additional fee along with your rent to T&T Rentals for this. It is determined by the number of occupants in the apartment unit. You will sign-up for your electricity directly with Cedar Falls Utilities, who will bill you monthly (you can also use auto-pay with them). 

  • Is WIFI included?

    As there are multiple internet providers out there, it is your choice who you use for that. You will set that up independent of your other utilities. (Cedar Falls Utilities does offer a package, as does many cell phone providers.)

  • If I decide to lease an apartment, how much is the Security Deposit?

    The Security Deposit amount is equal to one month’s rent.

  • Must I have Renter’s Insurance to rent an apartment here?

    You must have proof of current Renter’s Insurance to rent an apartment at Pointe West. It is for your financial protection should there be a catastrophic disaster causing the loss of your apartment and its contents.

  • How do I pay my rent?

    We have a portal system that you will join when you sign your lease. From there, you can set up to have your rent paid directly from your bank account each month.

  • What if something in my apartment breaks down?

    Just jump into your portal and access the Maintenance area to file a Maintenance Request. Of course, if it’s an emergency - ie - your apartment is flooding due to a broken pipe - please call or text us immediately.

  • Can I smoke or vape in my apartment?

    Smoking and/or vaping is not allowed inside any of the buildings on the Pointe West apartment properties.

  • What about illegal drugs?

    Illegal drugs are just that - illegal. They are never allowed on the premises of the Pointe West apartments. Anyone caught with them, or suspected of using/dealing in illegal drugs will be reported to the Cedar Falls Police.

  • Can I have parties?

    If you want to have a few friends over for an evening get together, that would be fine. Large groups of loud, drunken party goers are never allowed.

  • Can I have a pet?

    Yes! With a $200 non-refundable deposit and a monthly fee you can have a pet. Added monthly fees for the most common pets are as follows - Dogs - $100 per month for each dog; Cats - $50 per month for each cat. Other types of pets must be discussed with and approved by the owner before bringing them on the premises.

  • Are there pet rules?

    Absolutely. Owning a pet is a privilege we allow our tenants, but you must show respect for the other tenants in the building and complex.


       1) Pets are to be quiet. We have tenants who work from home, or work at night and are day-sleepers, therefore, barking/whining dogs will not be tolerated.


       2) You are responsible for making sure your apartment does not smell like pet urine or feces. Be sure litter boxes are cleaned regularly and dog pads are replaced often. Do not leave either of these items in the hallways!*


       3) You must clean up after your dog(s) when you take it out to relieve itself.*


    *Always clean up after your pet! Failure to do so, could result in additional clean-up fees.
